Aloha Friends,

Mark your calendar!  On Saturday, September 8th we celebrate Amy's birthday at the garden. You are invited to join us for children's games, garden tours, kalo pounding and hula. Bring your family and enjoy our community treasure together with the Friends.

We will share a pot luck lunch for which the Friends will provide Kalua Pork and cabbage plus a big, fun birthday cake for everyone. You are welcome to bring your contribution to lunch but we'd like to ask you to choose something that is easy to eat - preferably finger food (i.e. chips, carrot sticks, rice balls, ...) that does not need refrigeration. Please also bring your water bottle - there will be water to fill it up.

At 1.30 the annual membership meeting will be held and this is a great time to get an update on everything around the garden and the Friends.
