An evening with the Author: Russell Fielding, Ph.D. - Breadfruit: Three Global Journeys of a Bountiful Tree.

On Tuesday April 7, 2026, from 4:00-5:30 p.m., the Garden will host an Author Event with Russell Fielding, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Dept of Cultures, Communities & Environments at Coastal Carolina University.

Dr. Fielding will speak about his new book, Breadfruit: Three Global Journeys of a Bountiful Tree, followed by a Q&A and book purchase and signing opportunity. Dr. Fielding comes highly recommended to the Garden for his wealth of knowledge about the history and migration of `ulu, or breadfruit.
